That is one of his better grooves. One of the other demonstrable acheivements is a co-originator of the "Cloward-Pivens Strategy".

The Cloward-Pivens Strategy is a favorite tactic of George Wiley, founder of ACORN. Its purpose is to promote (FORCE) change in social systems through community particaption in social protest and uprisings if necessary.

The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven's early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. "Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules," Alinsky wrote in his 1989 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system's failure to "live up" to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist "rule book" with a socialist one.

We have all seen the protests against out financial bailout stating that this amounted to a socialistic takeover by the government. Scary thought that this is coming all together like this isn't it???

So we have seemingly disparate far left groups, Obama's campaign for change, and known supporters of socialist and communist causes all espousing a Credo for Socialism and followers of Saul Alinsky.

In this article on the ACORN website--We have an organization who is at the epicenter of this mortgage crisis who pressured banks and legislatures to lend to people who had NO ability to pay for these homes. They NOW want to direct money (OUR MONEY) to them so they can keep their homes. If you can see that they also blame someone else...WHO? This is so capricious is stands as a OMEN to those who vote for the empty suit BARACK OBAMA!

Following a three-year campaign Household International (now owned by HSBC Holdings and renamed HSBC Finance Corporation), one of the largest subprime lenders in the country, and ACORN announced on November 25, 2003 a proposed settlement of a 2002 national class-action lawsuit brought by ACORN. The settlement created a $72 million Foreclosure Avoidance Program to provide relief to Household borrowers who are at risk of losing their homes. The settlement came on the heels of an earlier $484 million settlement between Household, Attorneys General, and bank regulators from all 50 US states.
