------------------------
President Barack Obama is sending Congress a budget Thursday that projects the government's deficit for this year will soar to $1.75 trillion, reflecting efforts to pull the nation out of a deep recession and a severe financial crisis.
Obama's budget overview will call for nearly $4 trillion in spending in fiscal year 2010 and creates space for up to $750 billion in additional bank bailout funds this year - money that hasn't been requested and the administration hopes will not be necessary to stabilize the still-reeling financial system.
Senior administration officials would not disclose a precise figure for the entire budget, but said it would likely fall between $3.8 trillion and $4 billion for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1. The White House will formally release its budget overview at 11 a.m. Thursday.
The president's budget will also set aside a $634 billion "reserve fund" as a down payment to cover roughly two-thirds of the anticipated 10-year cost of universal health care coverage -- projected at $1 trillion.

The administration will work with Congress to locate the remaining funds to finance the plan. ?????????

And finally if you couldn't believe it was bad enough?A terror threat that shows that these freaks are still around folks!!!

House Approves $410 Billion Spending Bill!!!

Right after they approve the 787 Billion Spending Bill I call stimulasaurus!

Someone else I read called this Demoncrat administration "NoChildLeftADime"!

Here is our favorite change agents saying this:

"The same people who drove the economy into the ditch are now complaining about the size of the tow truck," said Rep. James McGovern, D-Mass., pointing out the large increase in deficits that President George W. Bush and GOP-controlled Congresses amassed.

QUOTE! ~ by Dr. Adrian Rogers

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Everything is turning upside down. Good = Bad! Terrorists = Good citizens! Earmarks = Stimulus! Save = Spend! Sounds like Brave New World!

The last President to pay off the National Debt also got rid of the centralized bank, that was out of control printing money amongst other things. That man was "Ole Hickory" himself Andrew Jackson our 7th President.

Who ran us into a ditch? Clinton started the "everyone deserves a homeloan whether they can afford it or not" policy. Barney Frank and Dodd enforced it and greedy banks ran with it. The Repubs screwed up by not controlling their own spending and not sticking to the core beliefs of the party. Now we have a socialist running the country --so look forward to nationalized everything, banks, healthcare, and manufacturing. Oh and also watch for gun rights to be taken away, it won't do any good to have a socialist regime if there is a chance for the people to revolt.

I wonder how much longer the government can keep spending this kind of money? If China all of a sudden stops financing our debt, what are we going to do? I know. Let the Federal Reserve print off more and more money. Can you say inflation. It's either that or our taxes get raised. But wait, Obama said he wouldn't do that, didn't he? Help!

Obama has spent more $$$ that we don't have in 5 or 6 weeks than Bush did in 8 years. Maybe I'll take my $13 a week from my tax cut and buy myself a $30,000 hybrid I can't afford. That's the American way-right? NOT!

STUPIDITY KNOWS NO BOUNDS. ALL OF THESE GOVERNMENT SWINDLERS, CROOKS AND SHYSTERS POINT FINGERS AT EACH OTHER AND BLAME EACH OTHER, WHILE THEY SPEND OUR MONEY FASTER THAN WE CAN EARN IT. FROM WHERE I SIT, IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE WHOLE STINKING CESSPOOL IN WASHINGTON. I FOR ONE AM QUITE READY FOR A REVOLUTION AGAINST DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS ALIKE! HOW DO YOU REMOVE CONGRESS, THE SENATE AND THE PRESIDENT?

This is not even up for debate. Jimmy Carter signed into law the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) in ‘77 which was supposed to fight racism in lending but went overboard. Groups like ACORN started bullying and suing banks so they would make very risky loans to people who could not afford a home… and Barak Obama was helping them. Later, the Clinton administration with Andrew Cuomo started suing banks for billions and forcing them to make risky loans and strong armed Fannie Mae to lower their standards for securitizing mortgages. Look it up… see the link at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivmL-lXNy64 Now go check on the involvement of Chris Dodd and Barney Frank (both Democrats)

The end for today!!!
OH THE MAN IN THE PHOTO ABOVE....Congressman William Jeffereson of Louisiana..I believe is still in office isn't he? Had all that cash in his freezer from kickbacks...
That's the American Way for these crooked Politicians!

Nobama Speech to Congress (Pt.1) & Highlighted

DARN!

VERY TRUE IN RED SOMEWHAT DECEIVING IN BLUE

YOUR comments???

Madame Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, and the First Lady of the United States:
I've come here tonight not only to address the distinguished men and women in this great chamber, but to speak frankly and directly to the men and women who sent us here.
I know that for many Americans watching right now, the state of our economy is a concern that rises above all others. And rightly so. If you haven't been personally affected by this recession, you probably know someone who has - a friend; a neighbor; a member of your family. You don't need to hear another list of statistics to know that our economy is in crisis, because you live it every day. It's the worry you wake up with and the source of sleepless nights. It's the job you thought you'd retire from but now have lost; the business you built your dreams upon that's now hanging by a thread; the college acceptance letter your child had to put back in the envelope. The impact of this recession is real, and it is everywhere.
But while our economy may be weakened and our confidence shaken; though we are living through difficult and uncertain times, tonight I want every American to know this:
We will rebuild, we will recover, and the United States of America will emerge stronger than before.
The weight of this crisis will not determine the destiny of this nation. The answers to our problems don't lie beyond our reach. They exist in our laboratories and universities; in our fields and our factories; in the imaginations of our entrepreneurs and the pride of the hardest-working people on Earth. Those qualities that have made America the greatest force of progress and prosperity in human history we still possess in ample measure. What is required now is for this country to pull together, confront boldly the challenges we face, and take responsibility for our future once more.
Now, if we're honest with ourselves, we'll admit that for too long, we have not always met these responsibilities - as a government or as a people. I say this not to lay blame or look backwards, but because it is only by understanding how we arrived at this moment that we'll be able to lift ourselves out of this predicament.
The fact is, our economy did not fall into decline overnight. Nor did all of our problems begin when the housing market collapsed or the stock market sank. We have known for decades that our survival depends on finding new sources of energy. Yet we import more oil today than ever before. The cost of health care eats up more and more of our savings each year, yet we keep delaying reform. Our children will compete for jobs in a global economy that too many of our schools do not prepare them for. And though all these challenges went unsolved, we still managed to spend more money and pile up more debt, both as individuals and through our government, than ever before.
In other words, we have lived through an era where too often, short-term gains were prized over long-term prosperity; where we failed to look beyond the next payment, the next quarter, or the next election. A surplus became an excuse to transfer wealth to the wealthy instead of an opportunity to invest in our future. Regulations were gutted for the sake of a quick profit at the expense of a healthy market. People bought homes they knew they couldn't afford from banks and lenders who pushed those bad loans anyway. And all the while, critical debates and difficult decisions were put off for some other time on some other day.
Well that day of reckoning has arrived, and the time to take charge of our future is here.
Now is the time to act boldly and wisely - to not only revive this economy, but to build a new foundation for lasting prosperity. Now is the time to jumpstart job creation, re-start lending, and invest in areas like energy, health care, and education that will grow our economy, even as we make hard choices to bring our deficit down. That is what my economic agenda is designed to do, and that's what I'd like to talk to you about tonight.
It's an agenda that begins with jobs.
As soon as I took office, I asked this Congress to send me a recovery plan by President's Day that would put people back to work and put money in their pockets. Not because I believe in bigger government - I don't. Not because I'm not mindful of the massive debt we've inherited - I am. I called for action because the failure to do so would have cost more jobs and caused more hardships. In fact, a failure to act would have worsened our long-term deficit by assuring weak economic growth for years. That's why I pushed for quick action. And tonight, I am grateful that this Congress delivered, and pleased to say that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is now law.
Over the next two years, this plan will save or create 3.5 million jobs. More than 90% of these jobs will be in the private sector - jobs rebuilding our roads and bridges; constructing wind turbines and solar panels; laying broadband and expanding mass transit.

Because of this plan, there are teachers who can now keep their jobs and educate our kids. Health care professionals can continue caring for our sick. There are 57 police officers who are still on the streets of Minneapolis tonight because this plan prevented the layoffs their department was about to make.
Because of this plan, 95% of the working households in America will receive a tax cut - a tax cut that you will see in your paychecks beginning on April 1st. ($9-12.00 per week) WOW!

Because of this plan, families who are struggling to pay tuition costs will receive a $2,500 tax credit for all four years of college. And Americans who have lost their jobs in this recession will be able to receive extended unemployment benefits and continued health care coverage to help them weather this storm.
I know there are some in this chamber and watching at home who are skeptical of whether this plan will work. I understand that skepticism. Here in Washington, we've all seen how quickly good intentions can turn into broken promises and wasteful spending. And with a plan of this scale comes enormous responsibility to get it right. That is why I have asked Vice President Biden to lead a tough, unprecedented oversight effort - because nobody messes with Joe. I have told each member of my Cabinet as well as mayors and governors across the country that they will be held accountable by me and the American people for every dollar they spend. I have appointed a proven and aggressive Inspector General to ferret out any and all cases of waste and fraud. And we have created a new Web site called recovery.gov so that every American can find out how and where their money is being spent.
So the recovery plan we passed is the first step in getting our economy back on track. But it is just the first step. Because even if we manage this plan flawlessly, there will be no real recovery unless we clean up the credit crisis that has severely weakened our financial system.
I want to speak plainly and candidly about this issue tonight, because every American should know that it directly affects you and your family's well-being. You should also know that the money you've deposited in banks across the country is safe; your insurance is secure; and you can rely on the continued operation of our financial system. That is not the source of concern.
The concern is that if we do not re-start lending in this country, our recovery will be choked off before it even begins.
You see, the flow of credit is the lifeblood of our economy. The ability to get a loan is how you finance the purchase of everything from a home to a car to a college education; how stores stock their shelves, farms buy equipment, and businesses make payroll.
But credit has stopped flowing the way it should. Too many bad loans from the housing crisis have made their way onto the books of too many banks. With so much debt and so little confidence, these banks are now fearful of lending out any more money to households, to businesses, or to each other. When there is no lending, families can't afford to buy homes or cars. So businesses are forced to make layoffs. Our economy suffers even more, and credit dries up even further.
That is why this administration is moving swiftly and aggressively to break this destructive cycle, restore confidence, and re-start lending.
We will do so in several ways. First, we are creating a new lending fund that represents the largest effort ever to help provide auto loans, college loans, and small business loans to the consumers and entrepreneurs who keep this economy running.
Second, we have launched a housing plan that will help responsible families facing the threat of foreclosure lower their monthly payments and re-finance their mortgages. It's a plan that won't help speculators or that neighbor down the street who bought a house he could never hope to afford, but it will help millions of Americans who are struggling with declining home values - Americans who will now be able to take advantage of the lower interest rates that this plan has already helped bring about. In fact, the average family who re-finances today can save nearly $2000 per year on their mortgage.
Third, we will act with the full force of the federal government to ensure that the major banks that Americans depend on have enough confidence and enough money to lend even in more difficult times. And when we learn that a major bank has serious problems, we will hold accountable those responsible, force the necessary adjustments, provide the support to clean up their balance sheets, and assure the continuity of a strong, viable institution that can serve our people and our economy.
I understand that on any given day, Wall Street may be more comforted by an approach that gives banks bailouts with no strings attached, and that holds nobody accountable for their reckless decisions. But such an approach won't solve the problem. And our goal is to quicken the day when we re-start lending to the American people and American business and end this crisis once and for all.
I intend to hold these banks fully accountable for the assistance they receive, and this time, they will have to clearly demonstrate how taxpayer dollars result in more lending for the American taxpayer. This time, CEOs won't be able to use taxpayer money to pad their paychecks or buy fancy drapes or disappear on a private jet. Those days are over.
Still, this plan will require significant resources from the federal government - and yes, probably more than we've already set aside. But while the cost of action will be great, I can assure you that the cost of inaction will be far greater, for it could result in an economy that sputters along for not months or years, but perhaps a decade. That would be worse for our deficit, worse for business, worse for you, and worse for the next generation. And I refuse to let that happen.I understand that when the last administration asked this Congress to provide assistance for struggling banks, Democrats and Republicans alike were infuriated by the mismanagement and results that followed. So were the American taxpayers. So was I.

So I know how unpopular it is to be seen as helping banks right now, especially when everyone is suffering in part from their bad decisions. I promise you - I get it.
But I also know that in a time of crisis, we cannot afford to govern out of anger, or yield to the politics of the moment. My job - our job - is to solve the problem. Our job is to govern with a sense of responsibility. I will not spend a single penny for the purpose of rewarding a single Wall Street executive, but I will do whatever it takes to help the small business that can't pay its workers or the family that has saved and still can't get a mortgage.
That's what this is about. It's not about helping banks - it's about helping people. Because when credit is available again, that young family can finally buy a new home. And then some company will hire workers to build it. And then those workers will have money to spend, and if they can get a loan too, maybe they'll finally buy that car, or open their own business. Investors will return to the market, and American families will see their retirement secured once more. Slowly, but surely, confidence will return, and our economy will recover.
So I ask this Congress to join me in doing whatever proves necessary. Because we cannot consign our nation to an open-ended recession. And to ensure that a crisis of this magnitude never happens again, I ask Congress to move quickly on legislation that will finally reform our outdated regulatory system. It is time to put in place tough, new common-sense rules of the road so that our financial market rewards drive and innovation, and punishes short-cuts and abuse. The recovery plan and the financial stability plan are the immediate steps we're taking to revive our economy in the short-term. But the only way to fully restore America's economic strength is to make the long-term investments that will lead to new jobs, new industries, and a renewed ability to compete with the rest of the world. The only way this century will be another American century is if we confront at last the price of our dependence on oil and the high cost of health care; the schools that aren't preparing our children and the mountain of debt they stand to inherit. That is our responsibility.

"The Axis of Idiots"

Well worth reading...

'The Axis of Idiots'

Jimmy Carter, you are the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You're the runner-in-chief.

Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the U.S.S. Cole and the First Trade Center Bombing and Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11/2001.
John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam . Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You've accused our military of terrorizing women and children in Iraq .. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam . You're a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did to the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam, is another war that you were for, before you were against it.
John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win militarily in Iraq . You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof and said we should redeploy to Okinawa . Okinawa, John? And the Democrats call you their military expert! Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You're a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You're not a Marine, sir. You wouldn't amount to a good pimple on a real Marine's butt. You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John.
Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us! See Dick run.
Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu Ghraib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqi's torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrated another beheading for you. If you truly supported our troops, you'd show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You're a bloated, drunken fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genoc idal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington
Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Carl Levin, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, the Hollywood Leftist morons, et al, ad nauseam: Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we'll run away again, and all they have to do is hang on a little longer. It is inevitable that we, the infidels, will have to defeat the Islamic jihadists. Better to do it now on their turf, than later on ours after they have gained both strength and momentum.
American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one united with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer. You are America 's 'AXIS OF IDIOTS.' Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam . If you want our Soldiers home as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies.Yes, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I'm also questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it.
Our country has two enemies: Those who want to destroy us from the outside and those who attempt it from within.

For Starters..

"Obama is a radical communist, and I think it is becoming clear. That is what I told people in Illinois and now everybody realizes it's true," said Keyes, who ran unsuccessfully against Obama for the state's open Senate seat in 2004. "He is going to destroy this country, and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist." ___Alan Keyes

another take on the big picture is alarming...

Treat yourself to Mark Steyn:Anyway, Geert Wilders’s short film is basically a compilation video of footage from various recent Muslim terrorist atrocities — whoops, sorry, “anti-Islamic activities” — accompanied by the relevant chapter and verse from the Koran. Jacqui Smith banned the filmmaker on “public order” grounds — in other words, the government’s fear that Lord Ahmed meant what he said about a 10,000-strong mob besieging the Palace of Westminster . You might conceivably get the impression from Wilders’s movie that many Muslims are irrational and violent types it’s best to steer well clear of. But, if you didn’t, Jacqui Smith pretty much confirmed it: We can’t have chaps walking around saying Muslims are violent because they’ll go bananas and smash the place up.

Joe the Trader!

This is interesting stuff if you really come down to it...It is an upscale sound-off!

like a ..."Joe the trader" type protest.

The reporter came off as sincere, angry and down right honest in his assessment of not only how these business people feel but me as well! When you read the whole article linked below it stands out as what it is that is exactly at the heart of this swing against the American grain. It stand against principles! The government is shifting way too left and people are getting sick of it already. Week 4? If this is all that Obama has been in office then this sounds scary....

HOT AIR BLEW DOWN THE HOUSE OF CARDS!

THE HOUSE OF CARDS STILL HAS SOME STEAM!

And....

Check this out. I’ve run the numbers myself. Feel free to double-check them.
The federal government will spend approximately 1.5 - 1.7 trillion for the TARP / Stimulus extravaganza. The entire crisis was caused by the burst of the housing bubble, which brought about the credit crisis, etc.
There are approximately 80 million homeowners in the United States. Approximately 40% of Americans own their homes outright (no mortgage).
That leaves 48 million homeowners with mortgages.
Divide 1.7 trillion by 48 million and you get about $35,000.
The FEDS could have literally given every American with a mortgage a voucher for $35,000 to apply to their mortgage. For the “poor victims” who are nearing foreclosure, that could mean avoiding foreclosure (If $35,000 doesn’t keep you from being foreclosed on, you are probably in some serious sh*t).
For the people who pay their mortgages on time, it would mean a huge chunk of equity.
Now, I’m not saying this is a good idea. It’s probably not. But don’t you think that giving every single homeowner $35,000 of equity would solve this “crisis” a hell of a lot faster than continuing down the moronic road of repeated bailouts and new government entitlements.
It’s mind-boggling what our politicians are doing to the United States of America. What’s even more amazing is the flacid, pathetic response of the weak-minded American public.

Come and Get IT!!!!

I just heard a radio show as I woke up at 630am or so...

I don't have to rush up and fly and so was able to awaken to some talk on the Hallerin Hill show here in town that brought it all home about the imminent bankruptcy of our financial system from others perspective.

Now that's what you want to hear when you wake up is it not? But anyway it seems not only does the radio host get it- but there are others that called in and do as well. That's encouraging. I wonder if they have read some of my entries?

Then the Senior US Senator called in and besides the fact he gets it he didn't say it and lied about the immediate impact if any for my state here. He also said they should of spent at least half the stimulus on better projects which is correct. Oh he also said they should of used it for the underlying problem.

Now Andrew if your listening today you will agree!

You see the housing bubble and misappopriation of all the debt to non-paying under qualified home buyeres and lying about, low and no income mortgages and the repackaging of all these trillions of loan investments have screwed us like never before. So it only makes sense that we need to do something with all this housing surplus and getting people into them albeit with better cautions and government backing.

You see my friends, many of the major banks are actually insolvent. Most of the others will not lend to anyone without top credit scores if at all. You don't want everyone to know that the banks are broke on the top because this will cause a massive run on ALL banks and the end of things as we know it. So they are banking that these fake stimulii will persuade people PSYCHOLOGICALLY to start spending and gradually get things back to the buy-buy-buy and borrow-borrow-borrow lifestyle that KEEPS US GOING!

I think this --That by still talking the seeds of fear in all of us the "Leader" of the used to be most powerful nation on earth will continue the slide into depression and we will all find out that the banks and our country will find out anyway that its useless and we are insolvent. That the nationalization of some of the banks without telling us the WHOLE TRUTH will backfire or at least cause panic anyway when you know people have to find out sooner or later that we are in a catastrophic big mess.

Its a scenario I didn't want to report but all the pieces are coming together as they said it would in a special session of Congress last year! They knew this was going to happen. We have to give credit to everyone for this. We all have borrowed and how many have saved???

Save us!!!!

Terrorism is not real enough for you?

Is respect for women worldwide like here?

Look at this and feel sorry for the Arab World!

Mark Steyn: So far, it's been Obamateur Hour

thirteen STINKING dollars

And this small tidbit from our friends at American Thinker
An article entitled: Will Old folks get in the way of our brave new world?
It speaks of an article in the stimulus package that quite possible restricts the elderly from medical care under one of the provisions that must not have been read too closely yet by most of the Congresspersons!

Why -the Demoncrats always try to scare the older population by saying that the GOP will take away your social security and THEN put a program in place that will just kill you by denying medical care so they don't have to pay you any of the entitlements afterall!!!

What a wunnerful life it is these days!

Here is the link!

And then read this comment to that article that I found pretty scorching!!!

Amen brother! As a generation the boomers were the worst to ever walk the earth in this country. They were given everything and leave behind nothing but a footnote on how to lose your soul; the title of the entry is "sex, drugs, and rock'nroll".

You mean like it was before a majority of Democrats voted to

place it in the general fund. When your SSN was a Social Security

Account Number. Yes, they tracked who paid. No pay in, no benefits paid out.

Enough about that and how about this?
Who is Jennifer Rubin?

Jennifer Rubin is hoping its all one big joke:
This is an odd way indeed to combat a recession. Usually, the president and treasury secretary in an economic crisis try to project calm, certainty, and a sense of command. The Obama administration approach is something new indeed. Perhaps it is some Zen-like exercise to “be the panic; own the fear!” Whatever they are doing they should knock it off. They’re going to scare the living daylights out of markets, consumers, and businesses.
Even the press can't remain somnolent forever. There is such a thing as an instinct for self preservation and eventually, the media will wake up to the sad fact that no one is in charge and no one has a clue about what to do.
Scary indeed...

I say... Where is John Alt?

This from the American Thinker writer in an article also sums up my feelings...

"Those American Thinker readers who are familiar with the twin bailout bills (the TARP bill passed by the Democrat congress under President Bush and the “stimulus” bill passed by the Democrat congress under President Obama) know that there is almost nothing in either bill for the “average” American."

EVER WISH FOR HOPE???

I believe these first 20 days could best be summarized in the immortal words of Mark Steyn, who said, "We have nothing to hope for but hope itself."

Yes, my friends read this excellent piece by one of MY favorites of many...Randall Hoven:

It is a day by day...week to week, break down of the seemingly forever first "20 days" of our Messiah..Barack Hussein Obama's activities so far.

Enough to make you want to look for political asylum in New Zealand or Ireland or somewhere! What I do see is what we expected and even more and faster!

This stimulus bill is attracting much attention from the lawmakers. I heard Senator John Boehner from the great state of Ohiah...stating that not one of the Senators has even read any of it! The things is over 11 or 12 hundred pages and they don't even get the thing till 12 hours before it was to be voted on!!!

The Republicrats in the House..God Bless them voted -everyone of them against it!

Passed because our sheeple voters in this country gave the bastards too many house seats to these mentally ill liberals.

We can only hope that the secret things wedged in between one European style socialistic measure after another and after another- will not be as threatening to our Union as many suspect!

Someone give me a Trillion to start a political grass roots movement!!!

I'd would start by teaching all the children a principled form of education! One that stressed all the now forgotten things like ...Who we are as a people. What are the principles that the Constitution is based on? What the founding fathers and the documents they produced mean to this country and it's vitality, it's success, and it's future! PLEASE....I need hope!

One by one I say purge these creeps out of office. Someone somewhere is making a strategy for the real hope. Remember the old days when we all wanted a boxer of white European ancestry..They coined it -"Waiting for the Great White Hope"! Well it isn't PC but it is accurate!

I am of the inclination that we need to muster up everything we have and get "the Chitown hustlers" kicked out of office one way or another!

Here's Hoping!!!!

Nowhere to Hide...

Short and Gloomy

See what is being hosted upon us by this shitload of leftists who are ramming this Stimulus as well as other massive spending packages down American Taxpayers (excludes Obama appointees) throats! http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=30697
We are in a bankrupt country. The economy only has been able to move and drive world wide commerce this long by credit! Those days seem over and maybe that's good ..BUT!....
What moves our capitalist system when money is not flowing? Where would we create wealth when the engines of production and jobs have gone offshore? Where will our children work to even closely pay down any debt? How can we survive the collapse of the dollar soon?
What will people do when the economy collapse even further? How will they react? The government has prepared for civil unrest! They are maybe prepared for martial law.. maybe! We are facing even worse threats than the great depression because people as a whole are more uncivil and more rebellious than our predecessors were! They may rob, kill and destroy if things go as the government most likely suspects!
Not a pretty picture. People are getting nervous. Things are getting worse. No one dare spend.
No one dare move if they are awake to the big picture....
Maybe most aren't! Maybe they think that a few dollars a week more on the average will make a difference? Maybe they think that a few hundred dollars in a government check borrowed against their unfavorable future will make things better? Maybe they think someone will get a new job under "The Plan" and that will help everything. Then again maybe it won't!!!
Someone has fed them a line of phooey! Someone has lied to them! Someone has known that by destroying the means of wealth creation and laissez-faire capitalism that they would create a socialist state! Maybe the government is getting ready for a BIG push to a global state!
Prepare my friends for the worst! And pray for some miracle to prevail. That some sense of who we were and what we were will arise and how to find our way back home!!! This is still the United States of America my friends. Let's understand and protect our constitution and our rights. If we don't...You have no one to blame...but yourself!
The rights of the individual are most important! The rights of freedom and your property!
Write your Senator and tell him or her you will have no more of their shennigans!!!

SHOW ME MY MONEY!!!!!--NOT!

We’ve all got to realize that reaming the rich never helps the poor.
President Obama maintains that tax cuts for the rich caused this crisis. But he’s wrong. Fact is, while he elaborates on the difference between Wall Street and Main Street, we’ve all realized: There is no difference. When Wall Street suffers, so do we. When the rich become poor, the rest of us become poorer.
Which is why you should send me cash as soon as possible. It’s our only hope, basically.
Also, taffy - send me taffy.

This was emailed to me this morning...from a friend who like I loves America but is not only concerned but frustrated, nervous, and feeling just but a little hope that we can stop the gravy train to socialism and topple the whole corrupt regime.

Quite a task as you will see here...

Read and Think....?

How Long Do We Have??

Where do we start and what do we do???

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."
"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. From bondage to spiritual faith;

2. From spiritual faith to great courage;

3. From courage to liberty;

4. From liberty to abundance;

5. From abundance to complacency;

6. From complacency to apathy;

7. From apathy to dependence;

8. From dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:
Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million; Bush: 143 million

Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000; Bush: 2,427,000

States won by: Gore: 19; Bush: 29

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Gore: 13.2; Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.
Pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the government's purposes are beneficent. "OFF AND RUNNING!"

Communist: Obama working to nationalize U.S. economyClaims 'people advocate president' pushing through radical agenda

In a major speech focused on Obama titled "Off and running: Opportunity of a lifetime," CPUSA leader Sam Webb also alleges Obama's administration is considering turning education, childcare, and health care into "no profit zones;" rerouting investment capital from military infrastructure to "green economy" projects and public infrastructure; and waging a "full scale" assault on global warming.
