Here I am spending WAY too much time worrying about what I read that is literally appalling in its scope. I mean what nation of intelligent human beings could be doing such a crappy job of governing?

I would be happy if we had a government that cared less about THEIR jobs and more about OURS!

Or basically just moved out of the way!

A government that would PROTECT our BORDERS!

A government that would care about the elderly and young and not plan for rationing of health care so that they would NOT have to pay them the social security money that they squandered away long ago.

That would not abort the living! Both young and old in other words!

A government that would treat voters as the ones who put them there and respect the VOTERS wishes.

A government that spends less and less and doesn't plan on bankrupting our country and descendants.

A government which goes ahead and drills for oil and builds nuclear and works on production of hydrogen for autos that is already a proven technology.

A government that protects and gives ALL citizens in regards to education based on need.

A government and NOT a dictatorship or Statist entity but like the republic that was founded by it's creators!

A goverment that respects free markets and fair trade.

A government that gives us a fair tax that is FAIR like that proposal book that is out!

A government that shakes out its rats and throws out the corrupt bums without us having to put up with them for years at a time!

A goverment that has leaders that lead and we can respect for their values and not ones that look to make this a country of LOWET COMMON DENOMINATORS!

Gore boasts: 'Global governance' coming with carbon TAX!

AS those of you know who have read my rantings on the dangers coming from the "green progressives" and environment wackos which is a concerted effort brought about by the UnEntitled United Nations and chief conspirator- Maurice Strong!
This old and unassuming but immensly powerful and evil gentleman is behind many things that have hamstrung parts of the US economy. The Global Warming conspiracy and make no bones about it -it's a hoax!-and the resulting effort to destroy the economies of not only the USA but some of the other largest industrial societies is his baby and he along with The evil billionaire Georgie Soros chose Al Gore to come along time ago to champion this "cause". Maurice Strong realized that this whole idea of using a fictious environmental "crisis" could rally enough of the populace and the left wing progressives to back this whole propoganda and the resulting world carbon usage taxs and the so called control mentioned now by Al Gore in the video shown that he must feel it is a done deal!

There is so much in this bill that will totally damage the US economy which is their purpose.

At a party last night I spoke with a very aware young person who understands all of this I will mention him anonomously more in the future and what "our ideas may be".. I said, "this is a kill the economy bill against everyone who lives in this country!"

In another conversation with an older bloke I stated that imagine a huge utility like TVA getting taxed and then the ABC Corporation which has as their biggest expense electricity gets these huge increases in costs and passes them along in the price of their products to you and I. And we already will have huge increases in our energy costs across the board...carbon-based taxes.. all forms of heating - automobile usage-electricity-etc. ..so as to hit us how many ways??? God Help US!!!

Not only that but the very fact that we will have regulatory control and changes up the wazoo! And you won't be able to sell your home without retrofitting it to EPA compliance in all the building codes that are to follow the very stringent government edicts I think that will come from the ones California had imposed..

If you can't sell your home because you can't afford the changes to windows, heating etc., you won't be able to move with your job or move somewhere to retire as easy, or just plain sellyou home because for any reason! Read the whole AL Gore thing on World Net Daily..

like they are already under the "Stimuless Bill" and futher tax payer's dollars in the tens of billions to "play" with alternative energy sources. We currently get a huge percentage of our electricity from coal. About 1-2 % of energy production comes from solar, wind and other green technologies. It would take a "miracle" to change anything that disparate! Clean coal technologies, nuclear and safer forms of breeder reactors for energy are closer. But they get scant attention in this. It's ALL about greed and control! Maybe a little concern about environment for icing on the HUGE cake.

If the progressives in Europe and wherever else that have made nuclear energy their answer and realized this all along..why the bull over this other stuff here?

I say its because of what the globalists are after.."Greed and Control" and this is the biggest piece of the globalists pie- the USA!

Arrogant Americans, Mr. President?

As I was sitting in church waiting for the start of the service, my grandpa came walking towards me pointing his finger. No matter how old I get, and no matter how long he's been out of the U.S. Navy, that's still an intimidating sight. As he approached me, his voice quivered as he said, "We saved that continent twice...how dare my president apologize for this country's arrogance." My grandpa is right. Americans need not apologize to the world for their arrogance; rather, Americans should apologize to their forefathers for the arrogance of their president.

Barack Obama's first foreign trip as President of the United States has confirmed the naiveté so many of us feared during the election cycle. But worse than that, it has also demonstrated that our president suffers from either a complete misunderstanding of our heritage and history, or an utter contempt for it. Neither is excusable. Garnering cheers from the French of all people, President Obama declared, "In America, there is a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive." Consider that Obama spoke these words just 500 miles from the beaches of Normandy, where the sand is still stained with 65-year-old blood of "arrogant Americans."

Indeed, columnist Mark Whittington observes, "One should remind Mr. Obama and the Europeans how America has 'shown arrogance' by saving Europe from itself innumerable times in the 20th Century. World War I, World War II, the Cold War, and the wars in the Balkans were largely resolved by American blood, treasure, and leadership."

But all that appears lost on the president's seemingly insatiable quest to mend fences he imagines have been tarnished by the bullish George W. Bush.

If Obama wishes to continue trampling the presidential tradition of showing class to former office holders and publicly trash Bush for his own personal gain, so be it. But all Americans should make clear that no man - even if he is the president - will tarnish the legacy of those Americans who have gone before us. Ours is not a history of arrogance.

It is a history of courage, self-sacrifice, and honor. When abusive monarchs repressed the masses, Americans resisted and overthrew them. When misguided policies led to the unjust oppression of fellow citizens, Americans rebelled and overturned them. When millions of impoverished and destitute wretches sought a new beginning, Americans threw open the door and welcomed them. When imperial dictators were on the march, Americans surrendered their lives to stop them. When communist thugs threatened world peace, Americans bled to defeat them. When an entire continent was overwhelmed with famine and hunger, Americans gave of themselves to sustain it. When terrorist madmen killed the innocent and subjugated millions, Americans led the fight to topple them. This is the legacy that generations of Americans have left.

If President Obama seeks stronger relations with the world community, perhaps he should begin by reminding them of these very truths, rather than condemning his own countrymen on foreign shores.

This "obsessive need to put down his own country," has caused blogger James Lewis to call President Obama a "stunningly ignorant man" who has evidently never spoken to a concentration camp survivor, a Cuban refugee, a boat person from Vietnam, a Soviet dissident, or a survivor of Mao's purges. Unfortunately, I can no longer bring myself to give Mr. Obama that benefit of the doubt.

Not after looking at the pain in my grandpa's eyes...a man who still carries shrapnel in his body from his service to this country. As a student and teacher of history, I recognize that America has made mistakes...plenty of them, in fact. But one of the great things about our people has been their courage and humility in admitting and correcting those mistakes. God willing, they will prove that willingness again in four years and correct the mistake that is the presidency of Barack Obama.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
